3:39 PM 7/3/2002 Musiclink helped sponsor a gathering of more than 100 people in NYC last night at The Slipper Room -- a lot of sweating and grooving to the ddrum beats, loops and samples of the band VFX. Eric, Peter, Willa, Garfield and Allesandro represented Musiclink.
6:36 PM 6/6/2002 Check out the article about us in TIME Magazine. The story features Fairtunes and Matt, our predecessor tip site.
2:54 PM 5/31/2002 Today we are happy to note that musiclink is running classifieds in major alternative publications such as The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, The Pioneer Valley Advocate, and The Boston Phoenix. These short ads are there to recruit more musicians. Starting June 7, 2002. New online registration forms should be ready at theat time! Keep your fingers crossed. Get you and your friends signed up!
10:26 AM 5/22/2002 Melodrome and Robby Baier are on a special program - a promotion for patrons making contributions tonight. They are on XM radio 8-12pm. Check it out if you get XM. Make a payment to support their tour and get a free CD! Select artist Melodrome for details.
10:45 AM 5/21/2002 Well, we're up! We're even up on Macs and on Macs with netscape running old and new versions! Thank you for your comments and suggestions! We even got a little sleep! Several contribtions have come in. Ken, Ian and I are threatening to go to Burger King to spend the profits. I think we'll work on paying AT&T instead.
We met some powerful women in Pioneer Valley, that's in western Massachusetts, who have created a Rock and Roll Summer Camp for girls! Check it out at IMA and get a taste of what these great people are up to.
May 14, 2002 Musiclink goes live may 15th, in just a few hours. We are ready to receive payments for artists. After a year of study, research and rebuilding, the site is ready to go. Musiclink, formerly known as Fairtunes, even got a story in Time Magazine, the Spiderman issue. We are exhausted and excited.
